Gorman%20collage.jpg

Greg Gorman’s work documents that peculiar obsession of the 20th century celebrity. His photography is timeless and not confined to has-beens, hot properties, and wannabes. Each shot gives a picture of human nature in its infinite range. Each picture is also a testament to the individual character. “For me a photograph is most successful when it doesn’t answer all the questions,” says Gorman, “and it leaves something to be desired.”

For over two decades, Greg Gorman has continued to master the art of photography. From personality portraits and advertising campaigns to magazine layouts and fine art work, Greg has developed and showcased a discriminating and unique style in his profession.

Curt Littlecott

Having left school at age 16, Curt chose to see the world, leaving London in 1987. After settling in Florida, he pursued his passion of photography and today has a busy three-story studio in Downtown Orlando, specializing in fashion and fashionable weddings! He has been speaking and judging at conventions and seminars around the country for the past seven years and has received numerous awards for his unique approach to photography, including most recently the Grand Award in Weddings and First Place in Individual Portraits from WPPI 2006. This Brand New class is designed for those wedding and portrait photographers looking to jumpstart or rejuvenate their business. Curt's studio in Florida specializes in Editorial and Fashion while Catherine's in San Francisco is known for Photojournalism and Fine Art. Both however share a passion for weddings and will show you how they have brought their experience in these other genres to their weddings. MARCUS BELL

A photograph is an amazing medium; a medium that can encapsulate a time in our life, memories, feelings, the spirit of a person, and the love between family and friends. Over the last decade wedding photography has come into a world of it’s own. Leading the way is a photographer that shoots from the heart, has a special gift of “seeing” the moment and recording magic, creating art.

Marcus Bell, owner of Studio Impressions has revolutionized the genre of wedding photography with a style that is steeped in raw emotion and supported by classical technique. His style of photography allows us to hand to him the privilege of telling our stories to future generations. The Australian based photographer is unashamedly a pushover for romance, weddings and all they entail. He drowns in the emotion of every wedding he shoots and is inexplicably drawn to the little moments that make that day special. He combines an innate ability to capture the intangible – a look, a touch, a moment shared - with years of experience and technical expertise to produce some of the most defining images of his genre.

Watching Marcus shoot, his passion for his craft, his respect for his subject, and his technical expertise are evident. He is lightening quick, purposeful and completely absorbed by his work. Genuine and courteous to everyone present, Marcus manages to keep himself focused with a remarkable ability to disappear into the background. Rarely orchestrating shots he instead relies on years of experience, careful preparation and zealous observation, to guide him through the important moments, allowing the natural emotions and interactions between the couple and their families to occur. Having mastered his understanding of light, composition, and the boundaries and abilities of his equipment, he can deal with the technical aspects of his work in seconds and simply concentrate on “seeing the decisive moment”. .

Marcus has gone on to be one of the most consistently awarded photographers in Australia and America, recently adding the coveted titles of AIPP Australian Wedding Photographer of the Year, Queensland Photographer of the Year and WPPI International Portrait Photographer of the Year. Marcus also holds a double Masters of Photography in Australia, USA and his fellowship of photography in the UK.
